Recent news :)

Recent News (3.12.09)

Hey Supermom Sisters... I got my Working Mother Magazine in the mail today and it had an article about Jamie Woolf, author of a new book Mom-in-Chief (and you could win a copy!! read on...)

here's what they said.... “Jamie Woolf has written Mom-in-Chief to give us a lifetime's worth of ideas, thoughts and solutions for how to find our strength at home by transferring our skills from career to family. She knows that it is the long view of parenting, of careers, and of relationships that gives us the best chance of creating change in our own lives. She knows that quick-fix gimmicks sound good but don't pay off. So she gives us a whole series of easy, step-by-step methods to bring the long view into focus and train ourselves for a better life.” ~CAROL EVANS, CEO WORKING MOTHER MEDIA

Jamie has a cool website - http://www.mominchief.com where you can read the Mom-in-chief blog, share a story and more..... check it out ...

Help with creating websites and email newsletters

Hi ladies! It was great to meet all of you last night. I really enjoyed all the great "goods" and "bads" that were shared. I wanted to offer all of you any help that I can give to you. Like we talked about last night, we can all benefit from sharing ideas and helping each other out.

USER-FRIENDLY WEBSITE

As far as setting up a user-friendly website, the host site I currently use is easy to use. Id' be glad to get you started by setting up an "intro"page and help you navigate the web-creator. I use VistaPrint, which is great for not only websites, but other great promotional products.

CONSTANT CONTACT Email Newsletter Info:

Also, if you are interested in trying out the email newsletter program I mentioned last night, please use this link to view the site and sign up for your free 60 day trial. I am an affiliate with this site and any links from my personal link will help me out. I don't make any money for referring you, but it does help me in other ways. I'd be glad to give you a quick "how to" if you need help with getting started. Here's the link: http://www.constantcontact.com/index.jsp?pn=virtualvirtuoso

Once again - great to meet all of you and I look forward to our next meeting!
